Entered the Elk Valley Ultra and have a few unanswered questions? We figured! Plans to head to the Wigwam for a group run, followed by an informal BBQ, beers and EVU Social. Come prepared with all your training, racing, gear and nutrition questions!

Sunday December 18, 2-PM – Fernie Brewing Co.
Icebug Canada is excited to host a Shoe Demo in Fernie, BC. Co-hosted by Stag Leap Running Co and Fernie Brewing Company, Icebug will be bringing their studded running shoe fleet that have the awesome BUGrip technology for you to demo. The perfect time for a test drive on the surrounding icy roads, or hit the trails to Fairy Creek, to find out how studded footwear can be a game changer for keeping active outdoors in the winter.
Icebug will also have some incredible holiday season deals available at the event, as well as Fernie Brewing Co. in-store deals…and of course beer!

Fernie Nordic & Thunder Bear Roller Ski Demo
Wednesday October 12, 5.30-7.30PM – FSS Track
There will be (a limited number of) roller skis for Classic and Skate available to use, with Jeff and Naomi on hand to give some much needed coaching! Depending on numbers, there’ll also be a little taste of Fernie Nordic Ski Team Dryland too…

The North Face Shoe Demo
Saturday July 2nd, 12-4PM – Downtown Fernie
As part of the 2016 Fernie Roll & Sole Festival, we’re bringing some serious sole to the roll this year, with a couple of great trail running options for you runners out there!
First up is The North Face Shoe Demo, taking place Downtown Fernie as part of the Fernie Roll & Sole Trail Fest. A perfect chance to try out some great trail shoes. With both the Men’s and Women’s Endurance Trail Shoe available to try.

Enjoy a “non-race, yet opportunity to push yourself if you so wish” run up Swine Flu. Shorter distance to cut out down Far Side.
Here’s the best part…once complete, run your ass to Fernie Brewing Company for a Private Run Club only beer tasting. There will be prizes for first male and female to the bar!
Cost: Please bring $5 to cover your donation to FBC’s current “Cheers to Charity!” recipient Fernie Senior Citizens Society & Drop In Center. And of course a little more cash if you’d like to shop!

Trails in Motion Film Festival

Also as part of the 2016 Fernie Roll & Sole Festival, an evening of inspiring trail running films!
The Trails In Motion Film Festival is a global annual trail and ultra running film tour creating an annual outlet for aspiring international film makers in this genre, but also to create a global community of like minded people who share a passion for the sport.

A fun evening of inspiring films, draw prizes and beer awaits you! Fun for the whole family.
