Stag Leap Spring Fling

A spin on last year’s spring challenge, the 2024 Spring Fling fees will go towards Club operating costs – with a cash purse to one lucky participant, (the more participants the bigger the cash purse!)
To be in with a chance of winning the cash purse you must complete 4 of the 6 virtual challenges, across any of the 6 weeks. There will also be draw prizes for fastest times too!
If local to Fernie, we’ll aim to get some challenges checked off together at Stag Leap’s Thursday Run Club ❤️
Registration opens March 1, 2024, closes April 14 at midnight, via the link below. $25 per/person.
All participants must have their FREE 2024 Stag Leap Club Membership
If in Fernie, we ask for you to also have your 2024 Trails Pass from the Fernie Trails Alliance
The Schedule:
Week #1 Apr 15-21
Week #2 Apr 22-28
Week #3 Apr 29 – May 5
Week #4 May 6-12
Week #5 May 13-19
Week #6 May 20-26
The Challenges:
5km – as flat as you like!
10km – with min. 300m ascent
15km – with min. 500m ascent
Min. 1,000m ascent/descent
20km – with min. 200m ascent
50km – as flat as you like!
The Rules:
You must complete 4 of the 6 challenges, ensuring you hit the distance and required ascent/descent.
You can only complete/count, 1 challenge, per week. And you can’t repeat a challenge.
Your run/walk/hike, needs to be tracked on Strava.
Enter weekly results + Strava link into tracking sheet. Link to tracking sheet will be shared ahead of Week #1.
